Neil Motwani

Neil is a young actor from a small city, Nagpur. Neil is born and brought up in Nagpur. He went to SFS in his school years and Hislop College for his graduation in commerce. He hails from a common family, but he realised his love and passion for music at a young age.

As a child, his dad got him a Casio, which he learned to play on his own. He states that he used to cut out notes for songs that used to come in the newspaper and he played them on his own. He always wanted to make a career in the media. After struggling and sharpening his skills in Nagpur, he moved to Mumbai. Without any knowledge or contact in the media, it was very tough to get a break. But he never gave up. He had to struggle a lot, but he states that his struggle was the only way to success.

He got a break when he was offered an advertisement for Spice Mobile, which was shot in Goa. Unfortunately, the advertisement never aired on television. Later, his efforts got him many small roles that he played with a great dedication. He bagged a role in Color’s TV series, KhoteySikke. Though he wasn’t the lead, he was appreciated for his performance. His talent got him many other TV shows like Crime Patrol, Bade AccheLagte Hain, CID and Sawdhan India.

He is now widely known for his role in Star Plus’ Ye Hai Mohabbatein as a lawyer. Ye Hai Mohabbatein is one the most well-liked TV Series on Star Plus and Neil is admired for his performance.
