He was born in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. At the age of two, their family moved to Hyderabad, so he was grown up in Hyderabad.
He learnt Kathak (Indian classical dance) while he was studying 3rd class. Afterwards he learnt Bangra (dance originating from the Punjab region) extensively for eight years. He was even familiar with mime (imitation without use of speech) and gave many performances. He used to participate in lot of cultural activities mainly dance competitions.
He completed his engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. Later on he went to USA and pursued Masters in Computers. He even joined in a job at Rediff. At the same time he joined a three month course in NYFA (New York Film Academy), which helped him a lot for his acting career. Meanwhile he also worked for a production house ‘Hollywood Bollywood’ as Model and for some while he worked as production assistant. He was married in 2006 and claims that movies are his passion.
He made his debut in 2005 through a film named ‘ Vennela Bio coming soon... >> Read More... Vennela ’, in which he played a role of Syed, a Muslim youth. His first project was a big hit and helped him getting many more chances. He moved to Hyderabad and started his acting career. He was offered one of the main roles in ‘Nuvve’ by Gopichand (Telugu film director). He got more opportunities in big movies like Bommarillu, Sainikudu and Rakhi. He was presently busy in Tollywood acting in supporting roles.

Rao Ramesh is a Telugu actor and son of Rao Gopal Rao, one of the greatest actors of Telugu cinema. He was born in Srikakulam district in present state of Andhra Pradesh. He was married and couple has a son and daughter. He was brought up in Chennai with his father being an actor at that time. He completed his B.Com in Chennai. He was very much interested in photography. He also tried at join The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, California for pursuing different courses but latter dropped due to reluctance from parents.   Being a son of great actor nobody came up with petty jobs to him, he himself tried to direct a few films on his own but his mother pursued him to become an actor like his father. His career was very low at the starting. He was an avid reader of poetry also and has ferocity of narration. He tried to start his career in a TV serial by Gantasala Ratna Kumar (famous TV serial director), but he was too shy and nervous before camera and odd are against him which made serial stalled in the middle. Later he went back to Chennai and there he started as a small screen artist and started acting in TV serials. He acted in serials like ‘Pavitra bandham’ and ‘Kalavari Kodalu’ and spent about four and half years working on TV serials.   He got a breakthrough movie named Gamyam (message oriented film) in 2008, Later on he has a catastrophic rise in his career and presently he was one of the versatile and busiest actors in Telugu film industry. Ravi Kondala Rao

Ravi Kondala Rao was born on 1st January’1931 in Samarlakota, Srikakulam(Dist.), Andhra Pradesh. His father’s name is Chidambaram and his mother’s name is Parvatamma. His wife’s name is Radha Kumari. She is an actress. His son’s name is RV Sashi Kumar. His mother tongue is Telugu and he knows Tamil and English laguages.  Ravi Kondala Rao is a Telugu actor, producer and writer. He has started his acting career with stage shows. He entered the film industry with the Telugu film Shobha in the year 1957. This film was directed by K.Kameshwara Rao and produced by Ponvauri Vasathkumar Redy. He acted together with his wife Radha Kumari in many films. They have acted in many films as wife and husband. Radha Kumari died in the year 2012. Ravi Kondala Rao is a multi-talented person. He has produced three films named- Brundavanam, Bhairava Dveepam and Sri Krishna Vijayam. He is best known for his acting in the films- Varakatnam, Pelli Pustakam and Brundavanam. He has acted in around 400 films. He has acted in supporting roles and comedy roles in most of his films. Some of his films include- Mee Sreyobhilashi, Oye!, Radha Gopalam, Sri Krishna Vijayam, Brundavanam, Madam, Pelli Pustakam, Radha Kalyanam, Chanttabbai, Andala Ramudu, Shrimanthudu etc.   Ravi Kondala Rao has written dialogues for the films- Challani Needa, Brunadavanam and Bhairava Dweepam and he has written the story for the film Pelli Pustakam. He wrote many books about Telugu film industry. He has worked as editor for the Telugu magazines Vanitha and Jyothi. He has worked as a columnist for the magazine Vijaya Chitra. He has received Nandi Award for Best Story Writer for the film Pelli Pustakam, Nandi Award for Best Book on Telugu Cinema and he was honored with the title Kalapraporna. He has written the auto biography the veteran actor Naggaiah and he is in the process completing the biography of the veteran actress Anjali Devi.Ravi Kondala Rao has acted in some TV serials like Kanyasulkam, Radha Madhu for MAA TV.
