Plot
Prabhu and Meera Krishnan are husband and wife. They have two sons; Karthik Kumar and Vimal. Vimal is a law college student. His uncle Robo Shankar always accompanies him. Jayaprakash and Saranya are husband and wife and they have Vamsi Krishna, Anandhi and Chandini as their children. Vimal and Anandhi fell in love and their love goes on smoothly on a separate track. Saranya and Jayaprakash decided to get their elder daughter married. But during the wedding, the bride goes missing. Meanwhile, Karthik Kumar attempts to commit suicide. What happened to the bride? Why Karthik tries to commit suicide? Watch the film in theaters!
Star Performance
Prabhu has a majestic role and he has done his part well. Vimal, who suits the rural hero, fits in this too. As usual, Karthik has done his part well as a second hero. Anandhi, Meera and Saranya have performed well as directed. Robo Shankar has got a full-length role. Yogi Babu, Robo and Singampuli have made the audiences laugh out loud.
Analysis
Boopathy Pandian directed Vimal for the first time. The director has designed the characters well and the star selection is also simply superb. Boopathy has equally mixed the sentiment, romance, comedy and action and there is no doubt that this is a good comeback for Vimal. The director has used the comedians to give punch dialogues and this is interesting.

Although the film didn’t have unique story base, it has right entertaining elements. In total, Mannar Vagaiyara impresses the audiences with its script, dialogues and the performances.
