Suresh Triveni

Suresh Triveni, an Indian Filmmaker, is the man behind the famous television advertisement Mauka Mauka and the blockbuster film Tumhari Sulu. Suresh Triveni is a Malayali born on March 4 in Palakkad, Kerala, and grew up in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He completed his studies in Chennai and Delhi. Being a bright student till his tenth grade, Suresh, unfortunately, couldn’t live up to his expectations in twelfth. But because of hard work, Suresh joined Times School of Marketing and completed his post-graduation course in Marketing Management. After watching Director Mani Ratnam’s Bombay movie, Suresh Triveni aspired to become a filmmaker. But eventually, he had to look up for a job in Sales and marketing and finally landed in an advertising agency as the Clients Servicing Executive.

To quench the thirst for his dream to be a filmmaker, Suresh Triveni shifted to Mumbai in 2004 and worked as an associate director for the BBC TV show. Later, he joined an ad film production house in Mumbai called Bubblewrap Productions. Suresh Triveni had been the man behind the lens for many successful advertisements. The most important being the Mauka Mauka advertisement campaign. He shot a series of the commercials for Star Sports channel during the 2015 Cricket World Cup. They aired the first one of the Mauka Mauka series before the match between India and Pakistan. The commercial revolves around a Pakistani cricket fan who waits for the victory of the Pakistan cricket team against India from 1992 to 2011, so he can celebrate the moment by setting the box of fireworks. The advertisement hit the jackpot and had a tremendous response from Indian cricket fans. The success of the advertisement paved the way for the series for each of India’s matches. Suresh Triveni earned the name as the quirkiest guy because of the commercial. His other successful advertisement commercials are for Mc Donalds, Mazza, VIVO IPL, Unacademy, Star India, Asian Paints, Tata Sky, and many more. Suresh Triveni owns an advertising agency Radhika Produces, along with Radhika Sawhney. He has also directed the short films Chan Kittthan, Conditions Apply, Dedh Footiya, and My Daddy Strongest. Suresh Triveni took a break in 2016 to concentrate on script works. The film revolves around Sulu, who, from being a housewife, takes the job of a night show RJ. The critics and the typical audience extolled the movie for his fresh concept. The film was commercially and critically acclaimed. Suresh received many awards for Best Debut Director. Besides, Suresh Triveni has sung the song Life Mein Fair Chance Kiska in the 2018 movie Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. Suresh Triveni believes that the bridge between dreams and reality can be connected only if we are willing to take a step. He did it and is now living his life to the fullest.
