Plot
Kingston is a smuggler working for Thomas, a local gangster. Kingston thought that they had been smuggling sea cucumbers. Later, he finds out the truth that they were drug trafficking. After a new recruit, Benjamin, was killed when the coastal guards chased them, Kingston started questioning Thomas. After Divya, Kingston’s girlfriend is kidnapped, Kingston ventures into the sea, which was cursed in 1982. He finds Solomon, his grandfather’s connection in a gold treasure issue, which made Bose a victim. Did Kingston find his girlfriend? The rest of the story speaks about Kingston’s quest.
Star Performance
GVP delivers a strong performance. He convincingly portrayed a smuggler. Chetan, Azgham Perumal, and Kumaravel have performed well.
Analysis
The script is decent, but the screenplay should’ve been gripping. The second half travels in the sea and the director tried to insert the horror sequences and impress the audience. Though those sequences bring a horror effect, they didn’t bring any mystery. Though the performances are decent, some characters were not crafted well. The first half travels well, but the second half struggles. GV Prakash could’ve tried a better BGM. The BGM is very loud. The visuals are wonderful and appealing well. The editing is okay, but the second half should’ve been trimmed better.

Verdict
The film has a new theme and good performances. If the second half had been filmed well with a gripping screenplay, the film would’ve entered the Hollywood range! However, it is watchable once!
