Summary:

Samarppanam is a Malayalam movie which was released recently. The movie was released in the box-office amidst huge expectations. Those people who are interested in going to movies have turned up in huge numbers to watch what is in hold for them. The movie has thrown a pleasant surprise on fans and there is a good word of mouth about the movie. Also, there is a good number of critic reviews for the movie. Definitely, the movie is not going to falter in the box-office and is sure to make a hit for the producers.

Plot:

A young girl is murdered, and it brings together the three central characters in the movie. A strange association develops between the central characters and the victim. There are unpredictable repercussions which await them. The movie plot is very interesting and people are sure to love the movie. The plot of the movie thickens as it throws to light the three vital characters in the movie. They are linked to the life of the victim in a unique manner. The movie is about how these three are drawn together to solve the mystery of the murder.

Star Performances:

The actors in the movie are Anil, Santosh, Virginia and Indrans. The actors have performed the roles to the fullest satisfaction. Also, they easily mingle with the plot which is a murder mystery.

Analysis

The movie has a good and strong plot. But, the direction of the movie seems to be very weak. This could possibly hit the box-office collections. Now being the season of festivals, people will turn up in huge numbers to watch the movie. At the same time, the screenplay and the production of the movie is very weak. But, there are other positive points as good editing and cinematography which makes the movie worth watching. The movie is a directorial venture by K Gopinath. The main roles in the movie are played by Anil, Santosh, Virginia and Indrans.

The roles done by the actors are commendable. The movie has a good plot.

What is not there?

The direction and the screenplay are weak. The movie could have been more good if the screenplay was intense. The production of the movie is not efficient.

There is a mixed reaction amidst the people regarding the movie. Due to the mixed response, it might be hard for the movie to pull massive crowds to the theater to watch the movie. When considering everything, one can say that the festive season may possibly attract people towards the movie. But, the movie is surely a good option to watch.
