Jeethu Joseph Reiterates His Priorities For Drishyam 3

According to the recent reports, the director is insistent that the Hindi version of Drishyam 3 shouldn’t release before the Malayalam version.

But why is this the case? According to the previous reports, the producers of both the versions had reached an understanding that the shooting for both the versions will start simultaneously. However, Jeethu suddenly objected to the proposal, threatening of suing the makers of the Hindi version.

Loosely based on the Japanese novel ‘The devotion of Suspect X’, Drishyam was a crime thriller which released in 2013. The success of the original inspired multiple remakes in multiple languages. However, the Hindi remake, which was initially directed by Nishkant Kamat, outlived all of them, including the original version itself in terms of popularity as well as commercial success.
