Manesh Madhavan is an Indian cinematographer who worked for the Malayalam film industry. He was born in Ernakulam and completed his cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of India which is situated in Pune. As a great and successful cinematographer, he is having many feature films in Hindi, Bengali, and Malayalam language.
He also received the Best Cinematography Award in The Kerala State Film Award 2017 for his precious contribution to Malayalam movies and also he represented India in many International Film Festivals held in Berlin, Venice, and Cannes. Madhavan was also an alumnus of the Berlinate Talent Campus at 58th Berlin International Film Festival 2008.
He not only worked in movies but also documentaries, short films, advertisements, and many music videos. For the diploma film of famous universities like the University of California, Los Angeles, and the United States of America, he also worked as director of photography.
His work as a cinematographer includes A Poet a City and a Footballer in 2015, Tree of Tongues in Tripura in 2016, Green Bangles in 2011, Adami Ki Aurat Aur Anya Kahaniyan in 2009, Gundert the Man the Language in 2012, Padmini in 2018, Daftar in 2016, and many other.
