My Boss is a romantic comedy Malayalam movie which was directed by Jeethu Joseph Jeethu Joseph is a Malayalam film screenwriter and >> Read More... . It was based on the same story as that of the Hollywood film The Proposal (2009). The picture has been set in the backdrop of the IT industry.

Plot Manu Varma Manu Varma is a supporting actor in Malayalam cine >> Read More... , who is the lead actor in the flick lands in Mumbai to work in an IT company. There his boss is a lady named, Priya. She is born and brought up in Australia and was shown for scolding her juniors for even a slight mistake. Priya is waiting for her promotion, but her rival Matthew is trying everything possible so that Priya could not get her promotion and instead he gets that. Due to her visa issues, Priya is facing difficulty in getting the promotion. To solve this problem, Priya decides to behave as if she and Manu are in love and would soon get married.

On the other hand, Manu joins hands with Matthew to teach Priya a lesson. Manu takes Priya to his home which is in Kerala so that she is away from the office for about a month. But in Kerala both of them falls in love with each other but hesitate to tell each other. Priya thinking she is a boss leaves Kerala and returns to Bombay. When Manu comes back to Mumbai, he comes to know that Priya has left her job and her promotion to Matthew. He finds Priya and offers her a marriage proposal.

But he soon realizes that he has made a mistake proposing Priya and decides to leave. As soon as he was going to go, Priya holds his hand and kisses him and accepts his wedding proposal. In the end, they get married and lived happily after.

Analysis: The film is directed and written by Jeethu Joseph. It is his third movie as a director. Music in the flick adds charm to the story. The cinematography of the film has completed the effect of the picture. With its release, it was expected to be a hit.

Star performances: The lead characters of the film Manu and Priya has been played by Dileep and Mamta Mohandas This effervescent beauty, who has acted in Malayal >> Read More... respectively. Their acting has left the audience mesmerized. They gained a lot of appreciation from the viewers. The other characters were also good and helped in completing the plot.

What’s there?

1. The story stands to show various comic scenes which took place between Manu and Priya when they were in Kerala.

2. The chemistry between them is great and is praised by the spectators.

3. The editing has been done perfectly, and the scenes have not been stretched.

What’s not there?

1. The plot is predictable and makes the audience bit bored.

2. Proper sketching of the characters has not been done.

Verdict: My Boss is a film which is a romantic movie showing the love life of a boss and his junior. It was a hit when it was released and thus could be watched.
