Plot The movie revolves around the life of a little boy Unni, who enjoys his serene life in the village and his school. When a newcomer comes to his school, things become tense. The newcomer tries to sweep Unni’s crush, Riya, off her feet and wins favors from the teacher. Soon, they find themselves in a competition.
Analysis
The movie has a rustic feel to it. It appeals to not only children but also the adults. The story has a timelessness to it. Even though the script has nothing new, it appeals to the audience. The screenplay has been handled very well and it lures kids in. The plot is very evocative, and the director does pretty well in his first venture. Some sequences glue the audience to their seats. The music and cinematography give an edge to the film.
Star Performance
The award-winning child artist, Gaurav Menon, gives another bubbling performance. The other children also deliver convincing performances.
