Plot

Bad Boyz is a film about Antappan, a young school-going boy who falls in love with a girl named Mary. Mary, who is an extraordinarily independent and accomplished young woman with high aspirations has an unusual interest in goons. When Antappan comes to know about her interest, he becomes a goon himself, intending to impress Mary. He and three other friends are part of an art and sports club called the ‘bad boys’ club. They challenge a drug mafia gang and even try to capture the leader of the gang. The rest of the film shows the consequences of choosing a goon’s life.

Star Performance

Rahman’s acting is good but not natural enough. In some parts his acting is overdone, making it seem unrealistic.

Babu Antony’s acting was also good but pretty dull in some scenes.

Analysis

Regarding the humor in the film, some comedic parts do offer hilarious scenes and jokes, while others fail to do so. The music used does an excellent job of elevating the mood and atmosphere. The characters in the film go well with each other but their acting is quite dull in some parts, and done excessively in different parts. Hence, the casting is not very good. The writing or story itself is pretty average and there is no structure to the plot. The action choreography was excellent. This is an entertaining and unserious film which seems to just flow without a proper path,which could make it enjoyable to watch for some, and dull for others.
