Unni Mukundan has done a decent job in this never seen before role. His performance is neat and he holds the trust of the fans by carrying out the genre neatly. However, Anoop Menon’s performance doesn’t seem to be natural. The rest of the stars did their part as directed.
Chanakya Thantram is a new genre to Mollywood. Kannan Thamarakkulam has executed with expertise. However, there are some loopholes. Certain scenes should have been concentrated well. Although the lead roles are chosen perfectly, some roles seem to have lost the importance. The mass entertainer is specially designed for Unni Mukundan fans and the director has brought it out well. Production values are good and the BGM gels with the story well.
What’s Not There?
If you are an Unni Mukundan fan, then this film is for you. This mass movie will not disappoint you and would make your weekend memorable with the natural performances.
