Autorsha” is a comedy entertainer scripted by Jayaraj Mithra and directed by Sujith Vasudev. “Sharreth” composed the music. Besides directing, Sujith has produced the film and also cranked the camera. John Kutty edited the film. The film has the star cast of Anusree, Tini Tom, Rahul Madhav, Naseer Sankranthi, Sankar Induchoodan, Amar Vikas and Dr Amar Ramachandran.

Anitha is from North Kerala and she is capable of doing any decent job to run her living. She gets an auto-rickshaw and starts working as a driver. She joins in the Kannur auto stand and becomes friendly with other drivers. How she makes friends and how her career goes on and who enters her life? Answers to these questions form the crux of the story.

Star Performance

Anusree does a commendable job. She looks natural in the makeup-less appearance. Rahul Madhav and Tini Tom have done their best. The rest of the cast had also done justice to their roles.

Unlike some films that show only the sad part of the women workers, this movie showcases the joyful part. Anitha’s smiling face and how she jells with her people are neatly shown. Anu Sree is a good choice for the role and she fits in the role perfectly and impresses. Although the flashback portions are not much impressive, it didn’t make the audiences to get bored. The characters are finely depicted by Jayaraj Mithra. All the characters have their own story and their own enjoyment. The promising screenplay and narration is the biggest plus in the film, apart from Anu’s acting. Then, there is no complaint in the production and technical values.

What’s There?

  • Performance of Anusree and the supporting stars are excellent
  • The script and the narration are impressive
  • The characters are designed interestingly

What’s Not There?

  • Except for some small flaws in the flashback scenes nothing big as negative

Autorsha is a good film that has the commendable performance of the stars. If you want to enjoy a jolly ride, do visit the Autorsha theaters and it will not disappoint you!
