Plot

Nikita Roy and Sanal Roy are siblings. Nikita rushes to London after her brother’s mysterious death. While investigating, he learns about the politician Amardev, whom her brother was about to expose. Nikita gives Amar seven days to bring him before justice. Amar challenges her that he will end her life in three days. Was Nikita able to expose Amar, whom her brother was unable to do? Who won in the game, Amar or Nikita? The rest of the story speaks about Nikita’s attempts.

Star Performance

Sonakshi delivers a strong performance. Paresh Rawal is good in his role, but his screen time is limited. Arjun didn’t have enough space to perform.

Analysis

The concept is good, but the execution should’ve been better. The film wants to differentiate between faith and blind faith, and superstition and science. The film starts at once without taking time to establish the characters or the basic plot. While this may have minimized the running time, a basic introduction is needed to understand the story. The idea of the story is compelling, but it would’ve been better if the narrative is gripping. Similarly, the characterization should’ve been better. Nikita is shown as a courageous girl, but courage should be brainy and not blind. It shouldn’t backfire. This is not seen in Nikita.
