Sheena Khalid

Sheena Khalid is a young theatre director, writer, and actor. Sheena Khalid is from Mumbai, India. Sheena Khalid has finished a two-year full-time course in theatre creation from the London International School of Performing Arts. Sheena Khalid co-founded the theatre company The Patchworks Ensemble, whose first production, ‘Ila,’ was named one of the top five productions of 2014 by the Indian Express. Sheena Khalid is a unit of the admired show Tape, AKA the Gentlemens Club, which has been exploring since August 2015. Sheena Khalid has cooperated with The Welcome Trust UK and The Asia Society to generate ordered labor of theatre. Sheena Khalid has labored with Rajat Kapoor Cinematograph on two shows – Nothing Like Lear and Macbeth.

Sheena Khalid conducts drama tutoring workrooms for adults, children, and collective companies. With Patchworks, she has co-managed and co-conceived the shows Ila and The Gentlemen’s Club, AKA Tape. Ila won the Laadli award in 2016 for Gender Sensitivity. Gentlemens Club, AKA Tape, is a specific cabaret-style theatre presentation about the lives of different drag-kings. Her newest production, Shikaar, opened in August 2019 and is pursuing to run at places around the city. As a hired director and entertainer, she has labored in many cooperations both within the country and internationally. Sheena Khalid is a drama enabler at the Drama School Mumbai, extemporization and conceive. Sheena Khalid has consumed time touring plans of alone storytelling. Sheena Khalid has informed parts she now grasps classrooms and offices nationally. Sheena Khalid has managed tutoring workrooms for other free workrooms for non-performers and employees. These tutoring workrooms cover type structure, popular talking, breed care, originality in the workroom, and intellecting figure speech.

Sheena Khalid also manages personal one-on-one meetings for private clients on public speaking and presentation-making. More recently, she has informed a workroom sequence called Captivate, which centers on public speaking and confidence-building expertise for employing women. Sheena Khalid is a storyteller with Kommune, where she is also employed part-time. At Kommune, she is a bit of the curatorial team of Spoken Fest. Sheena Khalid was one of five persons for the Tendulkar-Dubey Friendship for youth theatre actors of excellent flair.
