Plot
Vijay Mathews was an athlete. To care for his ill wife, he had to quit his athletic career. She was the one who encouraged him till she was alive. Now, he spends his time living alone in his house with his wife’s memories. A sudden thought made him compete in a triathlon that includes swimming, cycling, and running. He thinks that if he participates in it, he will become the oldest person to complete the triathlon. Will he be successful? The rest of the film showcases this.
Star Performance
Anupam Kher did his best, and his character is relatable. He expressed well the pain of losing his wife and the confidence to participate in the triathlon to prove his eligibility. Chunky Pandey has delivered a decent performance. Guddi Maruti has got a good role to perform. Vrajesh appears in a small role, yet he has given a strong performance.
Analysis
The script is decent, yet it has a predictable plot. The attempt is noble, and the performances are decent. But, all went in vain due to weak writing. Though the film had a great start, it made the audience lose their interest as the story progressed. The second half suffers from pacing issues. The finale is overstretched and appears to be too dramatic. The visuals are good, and the editing could’ve been better.
