Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor Sahil Bhardwaj was born on March 13, 1997. He is best known for his short films, including The Facebook Generation (2012), Dazed (2018), That Time of the Month (2016), and Forsake (2018). He began making short films while acting in theatre during his time in high school and college. At numerous student and independent film festivals, his films won awards.
Bhardwaj went on to work as an assistant director in TV shows and feature films after earning his master's degree in film studies from Ambedkar University Delhi. In addition to being a director, he has curated films for numerous international film festivals and is a qualified film curator from the Film and Television Institute of India. He has worked as the Film Market Programmer for the Diorama International Film Festival and sat on the jury of young curators at the UK Asian Film Festival as a member of the Young Curators Lab.
