Plot
The movie starts at the Indian Military Academy, where we see two friends named Uday and Sachin. In reality, Sachin is Uday’s neighbor and both have grown up together. Both of them had a dream since childhood to join the Army, and they came here to fulfill the dream. Uday also had a girlfriend named Tanu, whom he was missing so Sachin helped him arrange a phone, due to which both of them got severe punishment. Uday felt difficulties in performing the tasks given to him and hence he was unhappy in the academy. Eventually, he decided to drop the training and go home. As he is leaving the training halfway, he has to pay a fine of five lakhs which his father pays for him. Now he leaves for his home, and the first person he talks about his decision to leave the academy is Tanu, who drops him to his house. He tells his mother he is on leave because he got injured during the training. The next day, courageously he confesses his mother everything then he receives a call from his dad. His dad calls him to his house to meet him at first, he refuses, but later something happens and he leaves for his dad’s house with Tanu. Raj, Uday’s dad is a lawyer by profession, he was very pleased on Uday’s arrival but Uday was unable to forgive him for leaving him alone in his childhood. At that moment Raj was fighting for a case, the rest of the movie is built on that case.
Star Performance
Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik were in the lead role in the film were unique in transforming themself seamlessly into the character they portrayed. This is also true in this movie where he plays a grieving father determined to get justice for his daughter. The director, cinematographer, and the team did a decent job overall.
Analysis
Initially, it focuses on a son with a disturbed childhood, suddenly it shifts to the ironies of an ordinary man and then jumps into courtroom drama, questioning fundamental rights of the Constitution. The plot looked shattered from the first half an hour. Director V. K. Prakash utilizes the courtroom drama format to highlight the complexities and delays of the Indian judicial system. The look of the film may be low budget and not much to complain about there but the writing and the treatment of the screenplay somehow fail to leave the intended impact.

The plot could have been more appropriate.
Verdict
The movie is a one-time watch that gives out a good social message, and aware the public aware of the true complexities and proceedings of our Indian courtrooms.
