Plot
Ballipur Baldev Singh and Saroj are the husband and wife. Baldev is an MLA. He has a half-son Aayush and son Vivaan. Vivaan is a spoilt kid. Saroj has control over these three guys. Vivaan is a violent guy. Aayush is in love with a girl. They have a loyal driver Badhsah. This family doesn’t have any bonding between themselves. They have a lot of enemies outside to drag them to the street. Will they stay united and fight against their enemies? Watch the film to get the answer.
Star Performance
Performance of the stars is good. Sanjay Dutt is perfect in his role and so does Satyajeet Dubey. Manisha has got a strong role, but less screen presence. Amyra Dastur didn’t have anything in the film. Even if her character is not inserted, nothing would be missing.
Analysis
Deva Katta has shown the complex relationship in a family. The politics and the vengeance are also dealt with. But, he should have concentrated on the screenplay and the characterization. Manisha should have been given enough screen time. Similarly, Jackie Shroff is wasted without giving a strong role. The dialogues are also not much impressive and seem to be over cinematic.
