Kush Gupta is a cinematographer who is associated with some of the most leading productions and critically acclaimed movies in Australia and India. His career is a series of colorful adventures in the entertainment industry Kush grew up in Melbourne, Australia, where his early years were spent performing in local theatres and community programs. The prodigy was recruited for his talent at dance as a performer in the lead troupe of the ‘Children’s Performing Company of Australia’ at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

His excellent performance was spotted by the Indian choreographer, Shiamak Davar Shiamak Davar, the well-known Choreographer of Ind >> Read More... , who offered him a position at his dance company as one of its initial instructors. Kush was 16 at the time. This pivotal point in his life set him on the road to be one of the most sought after entertainment figures. He worked in the dance institute for eight years, during which he also had to balance his high school studies.

He entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the ‘Biggest Bollywood Dance Workshop’ in the year 2011. The next big opportunity came to Kush in the form of an Australian reality television show called ‘SBS Bollywood Star’ which aired in 2012. He made it to the final 12 contestants of the show and in the process became a favorite among its wide audience. The same year also saw him start his first production company which he called ‘Era of Entertainment Productions.’ He had discovered a passion to create visual media and add a unique flavor to conventional filmography.

He worked on several advertisements, short films, and wedding shoots during this period, which brought him a world of experience. He graduated from the University of Melbourne and spent some time working as a senior risk consultant. He was drawn back into cinema with the web-series ‘Mind Blowing TV.’ Kush pioneered Bollywood musical productions in Australia with his theatrical masterpiece, ‘Jahankaar.’ He moved to Mumbai in 2017 to be a part of Bollywood.

The newcomer soon rose in the ranks with his skill and since, worked on the direction and creative production of over thirty movies.
