Sagar Bhatia

Sagar Bhatia, born December 11, is a celebrated music composer, Qawwali Artist, and a qualified music teacher. He belongs to Delhi. Delhi is home to him and his craft. His journey into the realm of music began at an early age. He embarked on his musical journey in 2007. He is the head member of the band named Sagarthesoul, formed in 2010. In 2017, he announced his ventures, Delhi Dancing, for technical Dance forms, Sagar Bhatia’s Riyaaz, for musical instruments and vocal and Right Note, for music production and recording. These ventures became a platform for his visionary endeavors, propelling his original singles and covers of classic songs to millions of views on his YouTube channel, Sagar Bhatia official. On July 2, 2022, he gave his very first public Qawwali performance, which marked as the beginning of an incredible journey in his career. Through his performances, he has carved a niche for himself in the world of Sufi music and Qawwali. Sagar never enjoyed music except for that single class for music in the entire week.

So, to pursue music, he finished his graduation. Alongside, he leaned Guitar, joined a band and there began a journey he is extremely proud of. India’s Raw Star earned him the title of Tsunami. His power packed acts made him reach top six in the show. Born into a family with a rich musical heritage, he was exposed to the sounds and rhythms of traditional Indian music from a very young age. His initial training under the direction of some esteemed gurus lead him to develop a deeper understanding for his craft. He draws inspiration from legendary maestros like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sabri brothers and Gurdaas Maan.

Some of his popular tracks include Jogi, biba, Sada Dil, Sanu ek pal chain, sayonee, kaali raat, Sanson ki mala, jugni and challa.
