Richard De Varda is a Bollywood director and producer. He is known for the movies like Half Girlfriend, 3 AM: A Paranormal Experience, Murder 2, Crook: It’s Good to be Bad, and Kalyug. He has also worked for various TV series like Namacool, Sultan of Delhi, Masoom, Queen, etc. He has also directed music videos like Kya Hua and Roothare. Richard studied at Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai and later at Livingston School, New Jersey. He was also a student of Learners Academy, Mumbai. He pursued a Diploma in Journalism from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.
He has studied at Smt Mithibai Motiram Kundnani College of Commerce and Economics. Richard began his career in direction at Vishesh Films Private Limited and later at B.R. Films Limited. In 2013, he was a producer at Essel Vision Productions Limited after which he worked as an executive producer at Balaji Telefilms Ltd. In 2017, he worked at EMI Music as an associate producer. Richard was the production lead at Times Studio and then a creative director at Viacom 18 Media Private Limited. He worked at Reliance Entertainment in 2021 and became the executive producer at Luv Films LLP in 2024. He is also the co-founder and director of Break The Noise Records.
