Honey Singh was born on 15th March 1983 in Hoshiarpur Punjab India. His real name is Hirdesh Singh but popularly identified by his nick name as Yo Yo Honey Singh. Honey Singh is an Indian rapper, film actor, music producer and singer. He began his professional career as a recording and session artist but later on, he turned out to be a great producer of Bhangra tracks. He got his education in music from Trinity School in United Kingdom. He got married to Shalini Talwar Singh.

In 2006, Honey Singh was awarded by ETC for his track, Glassi; then also awarded by PTC for best classical Pop for Rebirth. In 2011 he was awarded by PTC Punjab as a Grade A music Director.

Honey Singh is the most popular singer of Bollywood; he became popular when he sang for the film Shakal Pe Mat Ja featuring Gagan Sidhu. Honey Singh loves to sing songs in his innate language and Punjabi instead of English. On 11th November 2011 he has released his Punjabi album International Villager. He also did perform at numerous college centenaries.

In 2012 Honey Singh also acted in a Punjabi film. He played the role of Deesha that is a mad gangster. Honey Singh is the premier artist in Indian film industry.
