Anushal Sharma is an Indian actor, assistant director, and director famously known in Bollywood. With just a few appearances on the screen and some work behind the screens, he garnered major accolades in the film industry. He played the role of Sachin in a TV series called Chi And Me. Chi and Me is a television series broadcasted on Zee TV from December 2004 to June 2006. In its one and half year of episodes, it could draw the attention of the children during those days. It is a children's entertainer and scientific TV serial in which Anshul Sharma played the role of Sachin, the main character. The story attracted every child, because in the plot, Sachin finds the egg of an alien. The alien is Chi, who turns out to be best friends with Sachin. Ajay Veermal is an Indian television director known for soap operas like Pavitra Rishta. He completed his schooling at South Indian Education Society High School and attended National Institute of Event Management. After working in few advertisements and shows as an assistant director, he got an offer from the producer Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms to direct some episodes of Star Plus’ Kayamath in 2008. As the replacement of Kahiin Toh Hoga, Kayamath explored the subject of friendship, love and how the best friends fall in love after knowing each other since childhood. Kayamath boasted the cast of high-profile stars such as Shabbir Ahluwalia, Jay Bhanushali, Panchi Bora, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sooraj Thapar, Ronit Roy, and Mohnish Behl. During its broadcast, Kayamath received rave reviews from fans and got high TRPs on a regular basis. In 2011, he helmed Pavitra Rishta which aired on Zee TV. In fact, Sushant and Ankita began their relationship while filming on the sets. Despite a promising start, the serial did not live up to people’s expectations, and the channel broadcasted the show for a year only. Bollywood has seen many prominent directors walk on by and one such director (assistant) who walked through Bollywood leaving a lasting mark upon the path he took is Arif Shamsi.
