Life is a sci-fi film that has hit the screens recently. Now let’s see how it has turned out to be.

Plot

As the title suggests the movie is about finding life. But here it’s on Mars. Some individuals in the International Space Station attempt in this discovery. What does this alien do? How is the story taken forward? Watch the movie to know.

Star Performances

He >> Read More... the rest of the characters also have meaty roles. Ryan Reynolds enacts the role of the amiable Rory Adams. He is seen as a confident person who doesn’t manage to take risks to accomplish things. Jake Gyllenhaal also has a good role in the movie.

Analysis

Life deals with the plight of human beings when faced with an extraterrestrial. More so, the extraterrestrial form is intelligent. The film has its similarities to some other fictional films in the senses that though the ISS crew is adept their intelligence is surpassed by the fast learning form which is named as Calvin. It entirely depends on the skills of the six –member crew, who has equal screenspace, to utilize their skills to emerge a winner against the alien.

Life will frighten you in such a way Alien did.

What’s there?

• The writing of Rhett Reese Rhett Reese is an acclaimed producer and screenwri >> Read More... and Paul Wernick Paul Wernick is a renowned producer and screenwrit >> Read More... (of Deadpool fame) is commendable.

• The special effects of the movie is good.

• The cinematography will give a new experience to the audience.

• The twists in Life go in the unpredictable lines.

• The first half of the movie is its forte.

What’s not there?

• The movie has lot of similarities to films like Gravity, Interstellar and Alien.

• The movie, though being in the genre of a science-fiction movie, doesn’t concentrate too much on science.

Verdict

Though we have seen such films before, the movie has its own share of unpredictable twists and turns.
