Grug Crood, the patriarch of the Croods family, wants everyone to stay united. The Croods sleep in a pile and also watch carefully for the predators. Guy and Eep are lovers. Eep is Grug’s daughter. Grug doesn’t like Guy. But, Guy and Eep decide to get out of the pack. But, an enemy threatens to break their home and hence everyone had to stay in the pack and fight. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke, Cloris Leachman, Peter Dinklage, Leslie Mann and Kelly Marie Tran are perfect in the modulations and impress the viewers.
The plot is much interesting and the characters are designed well. The voice-over by the stars fits well and creates liveliness in the story and the characters. The dialogues are impressive. The BGM and the visual effects blend well. The screenplay is engaging and there are no boring moments in the film.
