Plot

The film is based on the actual event of the sexual harassment suit that led to the dismissal of Roger Ailes from Fox News. Megyn Kelly, played by Charlize Theron, in the 2016 Republican debate, was criticized by Donald Trump Donald Trump, full name Donald John Trump, is an i >> Read More... , the media, and her news network and consequently was forced to smooth things over with Trump. Meanwhile, Gretchen Carlson played by Nicole Carlson was removed from a popular show and placed in a lesser known show. After she was fired by the network because she endorsed the weapons ban, she decided to sue Alias, played by John Lithgow. Kayla Pospicil, played by Margot Robbie, faces harassment from the get-go while working at Fox News. The film follows these three women on their journey to come forth and uncover the truth about Alias and sue him for his acts of harassment.

Star Performance

Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie give spectacular performances. Charlize Theron perfectly portrays Megyn Kelly to the point that viewers would feel as if they were seeing Kelly herself.

Analysis

The film perfectly describes the harassment that prevailed in the news giant for decades leading to Alias’s downfall.
