Will Trisha Overtake Suriya?

Trisha Krishnan, the talented actress, has been playing in a lot of films with meaty roles. She has been choosy nowadays like Anushka Shetty and “Nayantara.” Trisha has been waiting for the release of her film, Mohini. The trailer for the film released recently and had been trending on the YouTube. The film directed by Ramana Madesh is expected to hit the screens on Pongal 2018. Already there are films queuing up for Pongal release including that of Suriya Sivakumar, Keerthy Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Karthik Muthuraman, Kalaiyarasan Harikrishnan and “Senthil.” The film directed by Vignesh Shivan of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan fame has the music composition of Anirudh Ravichander and the songs are already a hit. Although the reports say that Mohini will be a Pongal release, the film team hadn’t yet confirmed it. Besides this, Trisha has “96” with Vijay Sethupathi, Hey Jude, a Malayalam film with Nivin Pauly and a couple of Telugu films too.
