Will Kamal Replace Mohanlal?

“Oppam” is the latest release of “Mohanlal,” which was directed by “Priyadarshan.” A special show was arranged for Superstars “Rajinikanth” and Kamal Haasan and both of them were very much impressed by the script and the performance of Mohanlal. It was rumoured that Kamal Haasan would remake the film and reprise Mohanlal’s character, the visually challenged lift operator, who was suspected of a murder. But, Priyadarshan says that nothing has been confirmed till now. At present, Priyan is the happy man as his Sila Samayangalil, featured by Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy and Ashok Selvan make it to the Golden Globes. Meanwhile, Kamal has been gearing up for the next schedule of Sabaash Naidu in which Ramya Krishnan pairs him. His elder daughter Shruti Haasan plays his on-screen daughter and “Brahmanandam” plays the role, Appa Rao. Akshara Haasan, Kamal’s youngest daughter, assists him in directing the film.
