Vijay Antony Replaced Simbu!

Vijay Antony, the music director, turned hero, has been highly expecting the release of his next film “Kaali” directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. Kiruthiga had already directed Vanakkam Chennai with Priya Anand and “Shiva.” When asked her about a huge gap between her first and second films, the director says that she had scripted the film, long back and had been waiting for the right star to approve her project. Initially, she approached “Dhanush” and then “Silambarasan.” Both the actors were impressed with the script. But, the project didn’t materialize due to various reasons. Finally, Kiruthiga approached Vijay Antony and he nodded yes. Kaali has “Anjali” and “Sunaina” as the female leads. Vijay Antony produces the film under his home banner. Richard Nathan cranked the camera and Lawrence Kishore edited the film. As usual, Vijay Antony has composed the music for his film.
