Vasanthi, the veteran actress, who had been addressed as Vasanthi BA, as she was one among the few graduates in the film industry on those days, passed away due to age-related health issues. She made her film debut with a Malayalam film, Minnaminungu in the year 1957. Her Telugu debut happened in the year 1960 and Tamil debut in 1961 with
