Today Is The Birth Anniversary Of Dr. Sivaji Ganesan! Sivaji Memorial To Be Inaugurated Today!

Today, 1st October is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sivaji Ganesan. The legendary actor was born in the year 1927 in Villupuram. Started his career as a stage actor, Chevalier Sivaji made his debut on the silver screen, through the film, Parasakthi. Sivaji has played in 300 films and he has played in various languages too. Great leader Karmaveerar Kamarajar is the great inspiration of Sivaji and he started following his ideologies. Sivaji was honored by the Indian government with Padma Sri and Padma Bhushan for his services in the entertainment field. Sivaji died at the age of 74 in 2001. Even after 16 years of his death, he is loved and respected by his fans. Dr. J “Jayalalithaa,” the late CM Of Tamilnadu, initiated the memorial for Sivaji. Today the memorial will be inaugurated by the Deputy CM Of Tamilnadu, “O Panneerselvam.” Sivaji’s sons Ramkumar Ganesan and “Prabhu” are also in the film industry, where the former produces movies and the latter acts. Prabhu’s son Vikram Prabhu is one among the leading young heroes in Kollywood. Ramkumar’s son Dushyanth Ramkumar has also played in a couple of movies and now has been producing films like his father.
