Ramkumar Ganesan

Ramkumar Ganesan is a well-known name in Tamil film industry. He is an actor and producer working mostly in Tamil movies. He owns a film production company with the name Sivaji Productions. His father's name is Sivaji Ganesan, who is a famous veteran actor of Tamil cinema. His mother name is Kamala Ganesan. He hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His younger brother Prabhu Ganesan is also in the acting profession. He completed his graduation from Vivekananda College, in the field of Business Administration. After completing his education, he joined the production company started by his father Sivaji Ganesan and uncle V. C. Shanmugham. He became the head of this organization when his uncle died. His brother Prabhu also joined him in the running of this Production Company. He is married to Meenakshi Ramkumar.

The couple has two sons, Dushyanth and Shivaji Dev. Both of his sons are in the field of acting and are popular among youth. Elder son Dushyanth has worked in movies naming Success, Machi. His younger son Shivaji Dev has starred in the films Singakutty, Nandhanam, and Puthumughalngal Theravada. Ramkumar's nephew Vikram is a successful actor in Tamil Cinema, and he has worked in several films. Ramkumar has also acted in few movies naming Aruvadai Naal, Chandramukhi, My Dear Marthandan. Aruvadai Naal is a romantic film, released in 1986. It was directed by G. Kumar, starring Prabhu, Pallavi and Ramkumar Ganesan. In this movie, Ramkumar played the role of Vincent Parker. From this film, he made his acting debut in Tamil Cinema. My Dear Marthandan is a Tamil movie, released in 1990. Prabhu and Khushboo played the lead roles.
