Nayan being popular in Telugu land, the producer of the Telugu version of the film planned a new kind of promotion for the film. He wanted to announce Rs. 2 lakhs as cash award for anyone who would watch the film in a theatre all alone. And the winner would be awarded by none other than Nayanthara. But Nayan flatly refused to be party to this kind of promotion.
