Keerthy Suresh’s Mahanati Over Performs Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya!

The Telugu version of “Savitri” biopic “Mahanati” released yesterday. The Tamil version will release tomorrow. The film has Keerthy Suresh as “Savitri” and Dulquer Salmaan as Gemini Ganesan. Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Deverakonda play journalists. The film directed by Nag Ashwin has been collecting well at the box office in Telugu states and the overseas locations. It is heard that Mahanati collected $303,456 from the premiere shows at the US box office. Allu Arjun movie Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India collected $202,189. Besides overtaking Allu Arjun starrer, this woman-centric film has been gearing up to create a huge record. It is heard that this is the huge amount for a women-centric film and even some of the star heroes’ films hadn’t achieved this. Keerthy Suresh’s performance has been receiving appreciation all over and “Baahubali” director “S S Rajamouli,” said that Keerthy hadn’t imitated Savitri but lived as her.
