The Ulaganayagan’s “
Thoongavanam
” releases this Deepavali on November 10th and there are huge expectations from him. Debutante Rajesh has directed the film, in which Trisha is the heroine. Hero Kamal is a police officer from the narcotics bureau. It is a fast paced thriller with inspiration from a French film.
The film is a bilingual and shot simultaneously in both Telugu and Tamil. Even the number plates of the vehicles and the police uniforms are changed for the respective languages. Kamal says that this was due to proper planning and an excellent teamwork. With 50 years of acting experience, Kamal says that he always looks forward, never backwards as he wants to leave his mistakes behind.
