It is heard that the first-day share of Spyder in Telugu states is Rs. 16 crore. At the end of 5 days, the share should have increased a lot. But, it was just Rs. 26 crore. So, the trade pundits state that the film would definitely incur a loss @ 60%. The complaint by the Telugu audiences is that as Murugadoss is a Tamil director, he cast a lot of Tamil stars than the Telugu stars.
