DMK Supports Bharat Bandh – MK Stalin

“M K Stalin,” the DMK President announced that he and his party are supporting the Bharat Bandh announced by their alliance party Congress. Congress Party announced the nationwide shutdown as opposition for the rise in the price of the essential commodities, especially, petrol and diesel. The Bharat Bandh will be organized on 10th September and DMK had given their consent. It is heard that almost all the opposition parties have agreed to participate in this Bharat Bandh, which is against the fuel price hike. The bandh will be organized from 9 am to 3 pm. CPI M Raja says that the Central Government run by Narendra Modi has collected Rs 11 lakh crore as excise duty and he calls it as a fuel loot.
