Case Filed Against Swathi Kolai Vazhakku Director!

Swathi, a software engineer, was murdered at the Nungambakkam railway station, by an unknown person, while she was waiting for the train to her office. Later, the police arrested a person called Ramkumar and alleged him to be the murderer. Ramkumar, who denied the charges is said to have committed suicide in prison. Now, this real incident had been filmed by SD Ramesh Selvan under the title, Swathi Kolai Vazhakku. Ramesh had already directed a film with “Vijayakanth” and a couple of films with Arun Vijay. Swathi Kolai Vazhakku is bankrolled by SK Subbaiah under Jaya Subashree Productions banner. The audio launch had been held grandly. Vishal Reddy, "R K Selvamani" and many other celebs took part in the function and greeted the film and the team. Ajmal Ameer, “A Venkatesh,” “Ayira” and Mano play the main roles. Swathi’s father, Santhana Gopal, had made a complaint to the Commissioner office stating that the director had filmed without getting his permission and the film might affect his family members. A case had been filed against SD Ramesh Selvan by the cyber crime police. However, the film has been hyped up well. If it releases, then it might get a good collection at the box office.
