What Is The Role Of Varalaxmi In Kasaba?

“Kasaba” is the upcoming cop thriller film of “Mammootty” directed by the debutant, Nithin Renji Panicker, son of Renji Panicker, the actor cum scriptwriter. In this film, Mammootty is paired with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the daughter of Tamil actor Sarath Kumar. Varalaxmi received lots of appreciations from all the side for her performance in “Thaarai Thappattai.” Varu plays Kamala in this film. A link will be created between Varu and Mammukka due to some unknown reasons and Varu helps him in investigating a case. The film is set against a village backdrop. It is about a Police officer, who struggles to come up in his career. Nithin, the director of this film, has assisted Shaji Kailas. The film will have Neha Saxena, “Siddique,” Sampath Raj, Kalabhavan Navas and “Jagadish” in the supportive roles. Rahul Raj composes the music and Sameer Haq cranks the camera. Alice George bankrolls the project. Kasaba is all set for theatrical release on 7th July.
