Unni Mukundan is looking to close 2024 on a high note. He was seen recently in two movies : “ Jai Ganesh Jai Ganesh is an Indian television actor who works >> Read More... ”, which released on the same day as Fahadh Faasil’s cult classic “Aavesham”, and the Tamil film “ Garudan Click to look into! >> Read More... ”. While “Jai Ganesh” did not flop despite clashing with “Aavesham”, it was an average grosser at the box office.

On the other hand, “Garudan” turned out to be a surprise hit, despite releasing around a time when times were tough for Tamil cinema. The movie collected 44 crores worldwide, which was a welcome surprise, given that almost every third film in Kollywood tanked at the box office, with even re releases like ‘Ghilli’ earning way more than the latest releases.
