Sandalwood has managed to recover the costs of some movies, and see partial success in others. However, like Kollywood, Kannada cinema is starving for one major success. Dhruva Sarja, who was last seen in the multilingual movie ‘Pogaru’, aims to end the drought for once and for all.   

However the battle won’t be an easy one, since ‘Martin’ is also facing ‘Vettaiyan’, ‘Jigra’, ‘Vicky Vidya aur Woh Wala Video’, which are releasing between 10 and 11 October respectively.
