Is Duniya Vijay’s Cottonpete Same As That Of Aditya’s?

In 2011, “Aditya” and Nikita Thukral committed doing a film, “Cottonpete.” Nearly 80% of the film was completed with a song and climax left. As there was some financial crisis started, the shooting was halted. Aditya says that with some minor changes to the script, the team has launched the film again with Duniya Vijay and Parul Yadav. Nikita played a north Indian girl in that flick and now Parul’s nativity is changed in the new version, but nothing is changed other than that, says Aditya. He also says that he could complain the team to the artists association, but he won’t and wants the team to explain their position. He asks explanation from Om Prakash Rao and Sudhindra, the producer. Aditya feels that Duniya Vijay could have informed him about the film. But, the producer says that Vijay’s film is entirely different from that of Aditya’s. When asked about resuming Aditya’s film, the producer said that they have shot only 50% of the film and as Nikita is banned by Kannada producers association the film could not be resumed.
