Movie sequels are films that follow up on the plot of a previous film. They are usually filmed after the original film's success and feature many of the same characters and themes. The following is a list of Telugu sequels that are currently available or will be released shortly.
1. Pushpa: The Rise
Pushpa: The Rise, Part 1, is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language action drama film. It co-stars

The film recounts the development of a coolie named Pushpa Raj in the smuggling conspiracy of red sandalwood, a rare wood that grows exclusively in the Seshachalam Hills of Chittoor in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel, is currently in production and is set to be released in early 2024.
2. DJ Tillu
DJ Tillu is a 2022 Telugu-language Indian romantic crime comedy film. Jonnalagadda plays the title role in the film, along with
, and Brahmaji. Despite receiving mixed reviews from reviewers, the picture was a box office triumph. Tillu Square, the sequel, is currently in production. A brief teaser for the film was also published recently. The film is expected to be released in the second half of 2023. Tillu Square will hit theaters on September 15, 2023.
3. HIT: The First Case
HIT: The First Case is a 2020 Telugu-language crime thriller film from India. Vishwak Sen and
star. The story revolves around Vikram Rudraraju, a police officer assigned to Telangana's Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) who is tasked with investigating the disappearance of an eighteen-year-old girl. HIT: The Second Case is a stand-alone sequel to the film. The franchise will now release one new film per year. Nani was revealed to be the next titular cop position after the second installment in the HIT franchise's third installment. The film is scheduled to be released in 2023.
Bimbisara is a 2022 Indian Telugu fantasy action film.

The sequel film's plot centers around three characters' complicated love-hate relationship.
Vennela is a 2005 Telugu romantic comedy film.

Manmadhudu is a 2002 Telugu-language romantic comedy film. Nagarjuna,
, and Anshu star in the film. The film went on to become an All-Time Blockbuster and won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film that year. Manmadhudu 2, a spiritual successor, was released in 2019. This film's sequel is an authorized remake of the French film I Do (2006). The sequel film received terrible reviews and was a box-office flop.
Gaayam is a 1993 Telugu criminal-political thriller film. It is based on the Vijayawada Gang War of the 1980s. The cast includes Jagapathi Babu, Revathi, and
. Upon its initial release, the film was a commercial success, earning six state Nandi Awards in 1993. Desam was the Tamil name given to the picture when it was dubbed. The Godfather (1972), based on Mario Puzo's 1969 novel The Godfather, inspired the film. Gaayam 2 is the 2010 sequel to this film.
Kick is a 2009 Telugu-language action comedy film from India.
