‘Zebra’ Gets An OTT Platform

Even before its much delayed release on 22 November, Satyadev Kancharana’s latest venture ‘Zebra’  has secured an OTT platform.

According to the recent media reports, the movie will be streaming on the digital platform Aha. Directed by Eashvar Karthic, the multilingual heist thriller stars Satyadev Kancharana, Dhananjaya, Sunil, Sathyaraj, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Amrutha Iyengar etc. in prominent roles. The music for this movie has been provided by KGF fame Ravi Basrur, who recently composed music for the Rohit Shetty action drama ‘Singham Again’.

‘Zebra’ is another opportunity for Satyadev Kancharana to earn box office success, which has evaded him for the last four years. His last successful movie was ‘Sarileru Neekevaru’, where Mahesh Babu played the lead role. The movie released around the same time as ‘Tanhaji’ and ‘Chhapaak’, and managed to carve out its audience, earning more than 250 crores worldwide.

Since then, with the lone exception of the web series ‘Locked’, Satyadev Kancharana hasn’t found success in any of his Telugu projects. He attempted to mark his presence with his second movie, ‘Ram Setu’, where he played Pavanputr Hanuman, disguised as a local guide AP. Despite being appreciated for his performance, the film failed to recover its original cost.
