Anketa Maharana, an Indian actress who mainly appears in Telugu movies, has established herself in the industry over a short period. Anketa Maharana was born in Dehradun Uttarkhand on January 12, 1996. Coming from a defense background, since her father served in Indian Air Force, the actress relished the opportunity of moving around places in India. Anketa Maharana spent most of her life in the small town Belgaum in Karnataka. She has an elder brother Ankhan Maharana.

Anketa completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya and later graduated from the Gogte Institute of Technology in Computer Science. In 2016, Anketa has crowned Miss Bangalore’s first runner-up. Before making it big in the film industry, the actress took modeling assignments and worked with the designers Sufiyan Zukni, Unais Mustafa, Nupur Sahoo, Amita Gupta, and more. Without having much exposure to films, the actress was spotted by the casting crew when she was shopping around a mall with her brother.

In the year 2019, Anketa made her debut in the Telugu film industry with the romantic drama 4 Letters as one of the female leads essaying the role of bold fashion designing student. The film gave her a breakthrough, and in the next year, she starred in the bilingual Odiya &Telugu feature film Patnagarh. Her next release in the year 2020 includes Ullala Ullala in Telugu. Anketa has walked the ramp in several fashion shows, including The Leather show 2020, Mysore Fashion Runaway, and Bangalore Fashion Week 2017. The actress states that her mother, Sandhya Maharana, has been her greatest support system from childhood, and she pushes her to do only the best.

Anketa is a fitness freak, and she loves to sweat it out at the gym for at least two hours. Though being a fitness freak, the actress doesn’t seem to compromise on her love for food and is a true foodie. Besides acting, the actress is a Kathak dancer, and she enjoys singing.
