And you would know that the Nadigar Sangam is indeed a reckonable star organization, with works with the support of drama personalities and actors. Stalwarts like
Sivaji Ganesan, MGR and M R Radha were instrumental in founding this association.
There was lot of drama in the past few days going to the extent of even legal brawl. The interesting fact is that this battle of stars caused is surely intriguing more than a commercial entertainer. The “war” now is between Sarathkumar’s team and Nasser’s team. Justice E Padmanabhan will be in charge of the elections.
The elections seem to face no problems whatsoever and it is held like any other election with the timings of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Around 350 cops were arranged for this election. Over 3139 members had registered with this noteworthy association. And today they will vote for the president, secretary, a couple of vice presidents, treasurer and over two dozen committee members. The election is supervised by the Chennai City Police. CCTV cameras are present and the voting will appear in a giant screen. The results will be announced by 9 p.m. today.
Well, on the introspective side, the elections of the Sangam have never been as sour as it is now. The contestants Radharavi and Sarathkumar are challenged by a Pandavar Ani, a team guided by the young and vibrant
Vishal Reddy. And not to miss the point that this team has the support of veteran actor Nasser. And as though the drama is not enough Poochi Murugan had earlier lodged a complaint that
Radha Ravi intimidated him that he’ll take away his life. Well, let the “heat” of the election subside today…
