Rahul Kumar Johar, professionally known as Karan Johar, is a famous Indian film producer and director working mainly in Hindi films. He was born on the 25th of May 1972 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Karan completed his schooling at Green Laws High School and graduated at H.R. College. He is the son of producer Yash Johar and made his directorial debut with the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, released in 1998. He is also known for launching the careers of several actors and owns a production company named Dharma Productions. Following is the list of top movies he produced.

1. Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva

Brahmastra is a Hindi-language action-adventure fantasy movie released in 2022. It was directed by Ayan Mukherji and produced by Karan Johar along with Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Mukerji. In ancient India, a group of sages makes many celestial weapons with superpowers called astras. The strongest among them, Brahmastra, has the capability to destroy the entire planet. The sages use their abilities to control the unstable Brahmastra and create Brahmansh, a secret society to protect the world from the tremendous power of astras. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a Hindi romantic-drama movie released in the year 2013. The film begins with Vishal Batra delivering a Ted-Talk and narrating his brother Vikram’s life story. The film depicts Havildar Ishwar Singh of the Sikh Regiment in the British Indian Army. The regiment commander refers to all Indians as cowards and is jealous of Ishwar’s fighting skills. The movie grossed over 136 crores worldwide. The film Jugjugg Jeeyo was nominated for six awards and received two, including Best Supporting Actor and Best Female Playback Singer. The story narrated Kuldeep and Naina, who have loved each other since school and married each other. They both work in Toronto, Canada. Kuldeep is frustrated with her new job, and on their wedding anniversary, they both confess to each other about their marital life and plan to divorce. The film Good Newwz, released in 2019, is based on comedy-drama. Raj Mehta directed the movie and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions and Cape Good Films. The film’s main star cast includes Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and others. The story revolves around two couples, Varun Batra and Deepti Batra, and second, Honey Batra and Monika Batra. Both the couples are having a happy life but can’t conceive a baby.
