Anurag Singh is an Indian director and film script writer who predominantly works in Punjabi film Industry. He is the highest paid director of Punjabi film Industry and well known as “Hit Machine” of Punjabi films. This famous director hails from a small village in the Kapurthala District of Punjab, an Indian state. His burning passion for film-making motivated him to do further studies in film-making. Navdeep Singh was born in the year 1968. He is a film director and a script writer by profession. His most notable work is NH10, starring Anushka Sharma. This film won many prizes. His birth place is Delhi. He was born to a Hindu family. His father was an honest army officer. He had a transferable job. So, Navdeep spent most of his childhood traveling to different cities and villages. He completed his graduation from Delhi. Initially, he decided to open an animation studio along with his friend. This studio was one of the first animation studios in India. In the Art Centre College of Design, he used to study film-making. He graduated from college in the year 1997. The college was located in Pasadena. Soon after opening the studio he shifted to the United States where he stayed for eight straight years. Then he moved to London where he stayed for two years and finally returned to India in the year 2000. When he was staying in the United States, he used to work for Cognito and Uground, directing music videos and TV commercials. When he moved to London, he used to direct for Great Guns. Since 2001, after returning to Mumbai, he has directed several commercials and music videos, and most of them have won prestigious awards. He made his debut in Bollywood with the crime thriller Manorama Six Feet Under. This film received lots of critical acclamations. After this movie, he was not active for seven long years. During these years he had left two projects. When people started thinking that Navdeep’s career had come to an end, he returned with a bang. In the year 2015, he came back with his movie NH10. This film starred India’s lead actress, Anushka Sharma. Anushka took the responsibility to produce the film with her own production house. This film received lots of praises. Though, this film was a little harsh and rough to withstand as it involved murders, beatings, and patriarchy. It was supposed to be banned by the Central Board of Film Certification, but they were persuaded to release the film, and they set aside the required scenes and edited the movie. He is currently busy with a new film named Kaneda, which is about the life of a Punjabi gangster as he rises and falls in his life. The film is yet to be released, and we hope it will be a success.

Soham Shah is an Indian actor and director who is particularly active in Bollywood film Industry. He was born in Jaipur in India. Soham got his inspiration from Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and decided to try his luck in the film industry. He was a real-estate businessman before venturing into films. This very talented actor is also a producer who produced a documentary short film “Newborn” and also he was a co-producer for the movie “Ship of Theseus”. Soham Shah began his Bollywood venture as an actor in Ashu Trikha’s 2009 thriller ‘Baabarr’ starring Mithun Chakraborty and Urvashi Sharma alongside. However, it was not much liked by the critics and also it didn’t earn well in box-office. A lawsuit based on public interest was filed against this movie in Bombay High Court demanding a ban on this movie for the alleged negative impression of Muslims. He rose to fame with his outstanding portrayal of Navin in the 2013 Indian drama film Ship of Theseus. He was also the co-producer of this movie along with Mukesh Shah and Amita Shah. This movie was critically acclaimed in 2012 in Toronto International Film Festival and proclaimed as the “Hidden gem of the year.” With its alluring name and storyline, this movie went on to win 10 International Film Festival awards. In 2014, Soham was the producer of the highly appreciated inspirational documentary film “Newborn” starring Laxmi Agarwal, a real survivor of an acid attack which depicts the story how she survived the acid attack and how she mustered up her courage to lead a normal life after the incident. He portrayed the character of ACP Vedant Mishra in Meghna Gulzar’s 2015 thriller ‘Talvar’ starring Irrfan Khan and Konkana Sen Sharma for which Soham received an overwhelming response from the critics and the audience. The storyline of the film is based on a real murder case of a girl named Arushi from Noida in Delhi by her parents that created chaos in the whole county in 2008. The movie caught the attention of the audience due to the even more realistic performance of Irfan Khan as Ashin Kumar, Investigation officer of CDI and Soham Shah as his assistant, Vendant Mishra. This film won 2 National Awards in Adapted Screenplay and Audio-graph category. He is roped to play the role of Kangna Ranaut’s love interest in Hansal Mehta’s upcoming Bollywood drama film “Simran.”Reportedly he is also the producer of the film “Tumbad”, a period film set in 1920 which is of mystery, drama and fantasy genre.
