In the early 60’s when legendary singers like Mohammad Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar were dominating the music industry, she made way for herself with the movie, ‘ Parineeta’, where Raj Kapoor signed her for the song ‘Nanhe Munhe Bachche’ which was hugely popular by then.
